I am very excited to announce that four of my photographs are being featured in the Layers of Vision exhibition at Kings College London!
The count down begins
The launch of the exhibition is in ten days time.
Then from Monday 21st November the exhibition is open to the public every week day from 10am – 4pm with guides in place to assist visitors.
The exhibition features the works of 10 visually impaired artists including 4 of my photographs on the subject of “seeking solitude.” Each photograph is accompanied by a soundscape I recorded which includes an artists audio description about the photograph. Every art work featured in the exhibition has its own formal audio description as well.
The photograph below is not one of my featured photographs at the exhibition but was taken along side one of the photographs I’ve used. It’s of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh at around 5 in the morning. I wanted to capture the rare emptiness of such a busy thoroughfare.

You can listen to information about it on this sound cloud by one of the artists Zoe Partington.
As soon as the exhibition website is live I’ll share a link to that too.
Loving your new website, Natalie and your photos are fabulous! I shall look forward to the exhibition.
